Printer issue: Time incorrect [Solved]

  • Tap Menu or Settings on the control panel.
  • Tap the Up or Down arrow key or the dial pad to select the Initial Setup and then tap OK.
  • Tap the Up or Down arrow key or the dial pad to select Date & Time and then select OK.
  • Tap the Up or Down arrow key or the dial pad to select Date and Time and then choose OK.
  • And, the LCD will ask you to enter the year.
  • Enter the last two numbers of the year and then tap OK.
  • The screen will prompt you to enter the month.
  • Enter the two digit of the month.
  • The screen will prompt you to enter the day.
  • Enter two digits for the day.
  • Tap Exit/Stop on the Control Panel.
  • In case of touch screen models, tap Menu on the touchscreen.
  • Tap the Up or Down arrow key to display Initial Setup.
  • Tap Initial Setup.
  • Select Date & Time.
  • Enter the last two numerals of the year in case of touchscreen & then tap OK.
  • Enter the last two digits of the month on the touchscreen and then tap OK.
  • Enter the two digits of the day on the touchscreen and then tap OK.
  • Choose Stop/ Exit on the Control Panel.

  • Check if there are any faults with the ink cartridges.
  • Make sure to insert the cartridges that are compatible and genuine with the model of your Hewlett Packard printer.
  • Check if the right size and the type of paper are loaded into the main input tray.
  • Reset the HP Printer. Power On the Hewlett Packard printer.
  • With the HP Printer powered On, detach the electrical cable from the back.
  • Unplug the electrical cable’s other end from the power source.
  • Wait for at least thirty seconds to one minute.
  • While reconnecting the cord, make sure you connect directly into an outlet without using any extensions such as film or strip.
  • Reinsert the cord’s other at the back side of your HP Printer.
  • Switch On the Hewlett Packard device and then carry out a print task.
  • Search for devices on your Personal Computer and right-click on the name of your Hewlett Packard printer.
  • Choose Printer Properties and click the Advanced menu.
  • Select the option named Print directly to the printer.
  • Click the Apply option and then choose OK. If the error persists, verify the functionality of the scanner bar.
  • Remove all the original documents that are placed inside the scanner glass.
  • Raise the scanner lid slightly and then press the Copy button or icon on the printer. If the light on the scanner does not illuminate or slide, it indicates that the device requires servicing.
