  • Verify the network on the printer and the computer whether they both are connected to the same router.
  • Download an HP application HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • Run the downloaded software program and click the Start button.
  • Select your HP printer name from the list or click Retry if not listed.
  • Go with the on-screen instructions displayed on the tool to solve the connection problem.
  • If the problem continues, uninstall the current printer driver and reinstall it from the website.
  • Switch off the devices like printer, computer, and router.
  • Restart all the devices after 30 seconds and reestablish the connection.
  • Try to connect the printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard feature available on your printer control panel or by Wi-Fi Direct feature.
