Issue: HP7515 disconnects from the network [Solved]

To fix the HP7515 Printer from the network issue, turn off the wireless connection in both printer and computer to make it work again since the printer might forget the network settings. When attempting to print, if the Printer is not responding or the Printer status is offline. Do the following instructions.

  1. The Printer is said to be in offline when it is off, or it is unavailable for communication. If it is in the off mode, press the power button to wake it up and keep the Printer ready to receive a print job.
  2. Check whether the paper loaded in the input tray, ink or toner cartridges are installed and there are no errors and blinking lights in the Printer’s control panel.
  3. The next instruction is resetting the Printing system which clears errors by removing HP or non-HP Printers, print jobs and print preferences. Restart the printer and try to print, continue with the next step if the printer remains offline.
  4. In the printer device, click System Preferences and then select Printers and scanners.
  5. Press control+click anywhere inside the Printer’s window and then click Reset Printing system.
  6. In the confirmation window, click Reset.
  7. Once the dialog box prompts, enter the administration name and password and then click OK to complete the reset.
  8. When the printing system resets, add the Printer back to the list and try to print. If the Printer remains to be in offline, do the steps to troubleshoot the Printer connection issues with network or USB connection.
