Click the Start icon, then choose All Programs, and then select your Laserjet CP1215 printer.
Select the Device Settings folder and choose the System Setup option.
Click On present next to the Cartridge out override option. If you want to disable the Override feature, choose the Off button.
Raise the front access door on your Laserjet CP1215 printer completely.
After a few seconds, lower the door and then check if the issue has been cleared.
Tap the Power button to turn Off the Laserjet CP1215 printer.
Wait for thirty seconds and then switch On the Laserjet CP1215 printer. If the error exists, reset the default settings.
Go to your Laserjet CP1215 printer and unplug the USB cord if applicable.
Switch Off the printer, then wait for forty seconds, and then turn it On.
Before proceeding, wait until the Laserjet CP1215 printer stays silent.
Reinsert the USB cord to the Laserjet CP1215 printer.
Now power On the Laserjet CP1215 printer.
Check for jammed sheets, open the input tray and discard any loose papers that are present.
Check if there are obstructions inside the output tray and remove the same.
Clear the error lamp by opening and then closing the rear access door.
Open the jam access door and pull the tray 1 out.
Look for debris inside the tray and take them out.
Continue the print task by tapping the Resume button. If the problem is unresolved, check for jams in the tray area and discard them.
